Casey was born and raised in Long Beach, California, before making his way to Idaho. He graduated in 2008 from Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls, then attended Treasure Valley Community College on a partial-ride scholarship playing soccer. Before graduating college, Casey took many years to pursue skiing, acting, and adventures across the country. He managed a skiwear company, acted in independent films and film festivals, and road tripped with friends and family.
After moving back to Idaho in 2015 from Bellingham, Washington, Casey resumed his educational studies at Idaho State University to complete his degree in Communication, Media, & Persuasion with an emphasis in Multiplatform Journalism.
After graduating, Casey became a board member and regular actor at the Actors’ Repertory Theatre of Idaho as their Media & Public Relations Director. He’s performed in over 14 live dinner theatre productions, including “Ben Hur,” “Clue,” “The Play That Goes Wrong,” “Bakersfield Mist,” and many more.
After gaining experience developing media and written content for clients in and out of Idaho Falls, Casey found an opportunity at Smartly Done as a content creator and multimedia specialist in June, 2021. Now he serves as the Content Lead for the Smartly Done team, ensuring quality content across any platform.
When he’s not working or acting, you’ll likely find him skiing at Grand Targhee with a cold Schnapps or beer in hand.
